ABOUT US

Hey JetsDreamers,

I’m Anita, and this is my flying story.

When I was 4 years old, I took my first flight. I couldn’t help but admire the cabin crew – they were charming, kind, and always seemed happy. I wanted to be just like them.

Fast forward 20 years, Qatar Airways was hiring cabin crew in Budapest. I didn’t know what to expect but I went to the Open Day and made it through each interview round. However, my journey took longer than I expected. I became obsessed with the cabin crew life, learning everything I could, I loved getting ready for the job. During this time, I also finished my Master studies in Food Engineering. After a year and a half, I received the news I had been waiting for – I finally got hired as cabin crew with one of the world’s best airlines.

I spent almost 4 years in aviation. During this time, I found my best friend, Ines – since the open day we became inseparable. We shared everything, from good memories to the tough times. I had the chance to travel the world, met amazing people whom now I can call my friends until today. I learnt that hard work pays off and every difficult situation on board will make you better and better in your work, as well as in your personal life. It wasn’t always perfect – sometimes it was challenging, and not every moment is glamorous! I loved every minute of being a flight attendant, but when COVID hit, it changed everything. I had to make the tough choice to leave the job I was truly passionate about because my family needed me in Hungary. That was the moment when I realized that flying wasn’t just a profession for me; it was a lifestyle.

That’s when JetsDream was born. Ines and I want to help others who, like us, wish to be a part of the aviation industry. Life may throw us surprises, but my goal of helping others keeps me going with a new purpose. Our dream is now to help make yours come true.

Hello JetsDreamers,

My name is Ines. Let me share my journey.

Long story short, I never wanted to be a flight attendant… well, that’s not entirely true. At 18, I briefly considered it, but fear of flying soon took over. Yet, my fascination with aviation persisted. I loved traveling and watching planes, albeit from the ground. Desiring to see the world, I joined a travel agency.

Later, I realized everyone could travel, all my clients except me. I had to do something about it! Though afraid to have my own wings, I battled the demons pulling me down. After several attempts, open days, and final interviews, I joined one of the best Middle Eastern airlines at 31. This is where our shared journey began with Anita. We met at an open day, became friends, and later flatmates in Qatar. We cherished three beautiful years there, and now we’re building something together, addressing what we lacked back then.

What was missing? Knowledge about the aviation world! Learning this the hard way, I discovered limited information about aviation jobs or guides, especially for European companies. When the pandemic hit, I found myself jobless, uncertain about the future. All I knew was that I wanted to keep flying. Despite being experienced, the Middle Eastern license held little value in Europe. I decided to wait until the first recruitment offering the EASA license. A year later, Ryanair opened the door. While I enjoyed those months, I realized low-cost wasn’t my thing. I craved the real cabin crew experience, where I could travel and explore. Now, with the license in hand, I found my place in one of the best charter operator companies, and I can honestly say I’ve never been happier.

I wish the same for you – live the experience, enjoy your time, and when it’s time to move on, don’t be afraid of change.

This is my story; let me help you write yours.
